ARTIFACT:

This is a late 1950's Cold War USSR Order of the Red Star, type 7, variation 2 insignia. It is made of enameled coin silver and is in the shape of a five pointed red star, with a Soviet soldier at its center and the Communist Russian emblem at the bottom. The insignia is numbered, "3618445.
