Late 1940s USN Submarine USS Grouper SS 214 Aluminum Plaque

This is an aluminum plaque for the United States Navy's USS Grouper SS-21The plaque shows an aggressive grouper in relief wearing headphones who is about to swallow a missile. The motto HUNT AND KILL is on a banner at the bottom of the plaque.

Circa late 1940s.

6-3/4" height and 6-3/4" width and 3/8" thickness.

Aluminum.
