ARTIFACT: This is a late 1940s pilot wing enameled in red for the New Zealand National Airways Corporation. From 1947 to 1978, NAC was New Zealand's national airline.

VINTAGE: Circa late 1940s.

SIZE: Approximately 13/16" in height and 3" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gold-plated brass with enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal cotter pin with two loops.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from an airline collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. ebay VAJJX02 LDHEX6/11

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The wing shows some small spots of light wear and tarnish, mostly to the reverse, and all enamel is intact.
