This is a late 1940s pilot wing enameled in red for the New Zealand National Airways Corporation. From 1947 to 1978, NAC was New Zealand's national airline.
VINTAGE:Circa late 1940s.
SIZE:Approximately 13/16" in height and 3" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gold-plated brass with enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal cotter pin with two loops.
MARKINGS:None.

CONDITION:8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The wing shows some small spots of light wear and tarnish, mostly to the reverse, and all enamel is intact.
