ARTIFACT: Late 1940's Lincoln Institute Chicago School of Practical Nursing graduation lapel pin. The pin shows a gilt torch in recessed embossed detail against a background of white enamel centered between the letters: "PN". The outer ring of green enamel reads: "LINCOLN INSTITUTE CHICAGO".

VINTAGE: Circa WWII

SIZE: Approximately 3/4" diameter

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Two piece construction, sterling, plated brass

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with drop in locking swivel catch

MARKINGS: "J.M. DUCK CO." two embossed union stamps and patent numbers

CONDITION: 6+ (Fine—Very Fine): The pin shows moderate wear, much of the gilt and enamel details remain intact, overall very fine condition.
