ARTIFACT: This is a late 1940s lapel pin in the shape of a Constellation aircraft. The "Connie", as the Lockheed product was nicknamed, was produced from 1943 through 1958. Largely billed as a civilian aircraft, the Constellation also participated in the Berlin Airlift and transported President Eisenhower. The pin is a Connie as seen obliquely from its side.

VINTAGE: Circa late 1940s.

SIZE: Approximately 5/16" in height and 7/8" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gold-plated brass.

ATTACHMENT: Single screw post with nut/disc backing.

MARKINGS: None.
