Late 1940s - Early 1950s National Biscuit Co NBC now Nabisco Bread Delivery Truck Driver Cap Badge

SUBJECT: This is a fantastic circa late 1940's to early 1950's Bread Delivery Truck Driver Hat Badge for the National Biscuit Company. In business since the 1890's, the National Biscuit Company, or NBC, is now more familiarly known as NABISCO. This badge is round and very nicely enameled in vivid cobalt blue with yellow lettering and a red border.

VINTAGE: Circa late 1940's – early 1950's.

SIZE: Approximately 1-1/2” in diameter.

CONSTRUCTION/MATERIALS: Gold-plated brass with red, yellow, and blue enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Single screw post with disc backing, two stabilization pins.

MARKINGS: The winged R logo of the Robbins Company in Attleboro, Massachusetts.
