This is a cap tally from the British Navy HMS Battleaxe (D118). Battleaxe was a weapons-class destroyer launched on June 12, 1945 and scrapped on October 20, 1964.
VINTAGE:Circa late 1940s.
SIZE:Approximately by 38" in length and 1-1/4" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Silk embroidered in gold tinsel thread.
ATTACHMENT:None.
