ARTIFACT: This is a cap tally from the British Navy HMS Battleaxe (D118). Battleaxe was a weapons-class destroyer launched on June 12, 1945 and scrapped on October 20, 1964.

VINTAGE: Circa late 1940s.

SIZE: Approximately by 38" in length and 1-1/4" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Silk embroidered in gold tinsel thread.

ATTACHMENT: None.

MARKINGS: None.

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The tally shows little wear.
