ARTIFACT: This is a circa late 1930s through World War II pin for Wright Aero Corporation, the aircraft engine manufacturing division of the Curtiss-Wright Corporation. The pin was given to a Wright employee with five years of service with the company. The pin was made by Balfour, and is in sterling silver with red and blue enameled details.

VINTAGE: Circa late 1930s - World War II.

SIZE: Approximately 11/16" in height and 13/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Sterling silver, enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical pin with drop-in locking swivel catch.

MARKINGS: LGB (Balfour) STERLING and some undecipherable markings.

ITEM NOTES: This is from an aviation company collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VBJX12 LFEX7/12 SFEX9/15

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The pin has some light wear and an overall tarnish; all enamel is intact.
