ARTIFACT: Late 1930’s – WWII Wright Aero Corp. 10 year service pin in 10K gold by Whitehead & Hoag. The intricately detailed lapel pin features a two-dimensional globe with red enameled wings on either side and surrounding it reads: “WRIGHT AERO CORP” in black enamel detail. The top of the pin shows a white enameled banner that reads: “TEN YEARS” and another at the bottom that displays two gold stars. The reverse shows a nice maker’s mark and reads: “10K”.

VINTAGE: Circa late 1930’s - WWII

SIZE: Approximately 5/8” x 7/8”

CONSTRUCTION/MATERIALS: Enameled 10K gold

ATTACHMENT: Vertical pin with drop in swivel locking catch.

MARKINGS: “10K” and maker’s mark, letters “WH” entwined.

ITEM NOTES: This is from an aviation collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VCJX15 LAAEX9/15

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine—Excellent): Pin shows minor wear, nearly all of the enamel details remain intact, overall excellent condition.
