ARTIFACT:

This is a late 1930s badge worn by a plumbing contractor building what was to become the United States Army's Camp Edwards in 193The badge reads ARMY CAMP 295 M. AHERN PLUMBING CONTRACTOR FALMOUTH, MASS.

VINTAGE:

Circa late 1930s.

SIZE:

Approximately 2-3/16" in diameter.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Celluloid-wrapped tin.

ATTACHMENT:

Horizontal safety-style pin.

CONDITION:

5+ (Fine-): The badge is completely legible and usable but has suffered heavy wear, with cracking on the celluloid and rust on reverse.
