ARTIFACT: This is a circa late 1930s Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) Company 2319 commemorative pillowcase. Company 2319 was based out of Sheffield, Pennsylvania in the Allegheny National Forest. The pillowcase is fringed in green with images of the Founding Fathers on one side and a poem to "Mother" on the reverse.

VINTAGE: Circa late 1930s.

SIZE: Approximately 23-1/2" in height by 22-1/2" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Silk, cloth backing.

ATTACHMENT: Flap.

MARKINGS: None.

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The pillowcase shows light wear.
