ARTIFACT:
This is a late 1920s United States Air Service officer collar insignia by Amcraft. The insignia is a winged propeller and there are maker's marks on the backings.
VINTAGE:
Circa late 1920s.
SIZE:
Approximately 3/4" in height and 1-3/16" in width.
MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION:
Gold- and nickel-plated brass.
ATTACHMENT:
Two posts with covered clutch-back catches.
MARKINGS:
AMCRAFT PAT. PENDING on each backing.

7+ (Very Fine+): The insignia shows small areas of light to medium wear and some tarnish, mostly on the blades.
