ARTIFACT: This is a late 1920s United States Air Corps officer collar insignia. The insignia is a winged propeller with very slender, detailed wings and a slight S-like formation to the blades.

VINTAGE: Circa late 1920s.

SIZE: Approximately 3/4" in height and 1-3/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gold- and nickel-plated brass.

ATTACHMENT: Two screw posts with domed backings.

MARKINGS: N/A.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Army Air Forces collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VEX99 LABEX1/11

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The insignia shows light to medium wear, especially on the blades, and light tarnish only.
