ARTIFACT:

This is a late 1920s United States Air Corps officer collar insignia. The insignia is a winged propeller with a very straight up-and-down blade.

VINTAGE:

Circa late 1920s.

SIZE:

Approximately 3/4" in height and 1-3/16" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Gold- and nickel-plated brass.

ATTACHMENT:

Two screw posts with disc backings.

CONDITION:

8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The insignia shows light to medium wear and tarnish, mostly on the upper part of the wings.
