Description
This is a rare and large Tissot (Swiss-made) United States Army Signal Corps wristwatch with a twenty-four hour face as used by aviators. The watch has a separate second-hand dial, military hours in red and a wind-up mechanism. The wristband has been replaced and is a 1970s vintage. This watch sold earlier in the year, but was returned for a considerable daily loss of time. The watch has been thoroughly cleaned and serviced, and currently loses about 3 minutes a day. Standard fare for a watch closing in on 100 years old.
