This is a wonderful, large Australian-made United States Army Air Forces 43rd Service Squadron, 5th Air Force patch. It is shaped like a beech leaf and has a "borrowed" design by Disney of a bee with several tools ready to multi-task.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 7-3/4" in height and 5-3/8" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Cotton embroidery thread on wool felt, cotton/linen backing.
ATTACHMENT:None.
MARKINGS:None.

CONDITION:6+ (Fine-Very Fine): The patch has several moth-nipped areas, mostly along the edge.
