ARTIFACT:

This is a wonderful, large Australian-made United States Army Air Forces 43rd Service Squadron, 5th Air Force patch. It is shaped like a beech leaf and has a "e;borrowed"e; design by Disney of a bee with several tools ready to multi-task.

VINTAGE:

Circa World War II.

SIZE:

About 5-1/4"e; in width by 7-7/8"e; in height.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Cotton embroidery thread on wool felt, cotton/linen backing.

ATTACHMENT:

To be sewn onto garment.
