Description
This is a great Disney-designed World War II shoulder patch for the United States Army Air Forces 71st Liaison Squadron, 10th and 14th Air Forces. It is in multi-piece leather, and was made in the China-Burma-India theatre. It shows a gleeful Dumbo the Elephant carrying a wounded soldier to safety. The 71st was activated July 15, 1943 and deactivated December 8, 1945.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 4-7/8" in height and 5-7/8" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Painted, multi-piece leather.
