Description
This is a circa 1870s belt knife by Adolphus Cutlery Company of St. Louis, Missouri. The knife has a stag handle and a nice slightly curved blade. It comes in its original leather scabbard, which is decorated with gilt paint details.
VINTAGE:Circa 1880s.
SIZE:Approximately 11-1/8" in length and 2-1/4" in width; blade only: 7" by 1-1/16" (at widest point); scabbard: 7-1/2' by 1-1/2".
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Stag handle, steel, leather, brass.

CONDITION:7- (Very Fine-): The knife has some spots of light wear with a crack in one side of the handle; scabbard is unstitched near the end and very delicate.
