Korean War US Army 6th Armored Cavalry Regiment Troop E Guidon

This is a Korean War guidon, or military standard, for the United States Army 6th Armored Cavalry Regiment Troop E. The flag is in a mustard yellow with black sewn-on details: a 6, an E, and a tank at the center of two crossed swords.

Circa Korean War.

Approximately 18-3/4" in height and 24-3/4" in width (not including foam board).

Silk or cotton with muslin, leather tabs.

Leather tabs.

None.

This guidon is shrink-wrapped and pinned to a piece of foam board. It will be shipped unwrapped and folded without the foam board, unless arrangements are made for pick-up or special shipping to preserve the shrink wrap mounting. 6- (Fine): The guidon has heavy fraying at its pointed ends and one 7-1/4" rip.
