ARTIFACT:
This is a United States Army Air Forces unit history of the 36th Fighter-Bomber Wing covering 1940 through early 1951. Previously the 36th Fighter Wing, the 36th Fighter-Bomber Wing came into existence on January 20, 1950. The book has some great jet pictures and the last eight pages show group photos of each squadron within the Wing. The first page is a photo of Commander Richard A. Legg, who was replaced on March 1, 1951.

48 pages; approximately 11-3/4"e; in height and 8-1/4" in width.

Color printed oaktag cover, glossy paper.
