Description

ARTIFACT:

Japanese Thousand Stitch Belt with kanji reading "Loyalty for the Country", belt also features Navy kikusui mark and shrine stamp. Belt is white linen, with light colored embroidered thread and stamp ink.

Circa WWII

SIZE:

Approximately 36" x 12 ½"

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Embroidered linen, cotton/polyester/silk thread, ink stamp.

None.

MARKINGS:

Navy Kikusui and Shrine Stamp.
