Classic, Iconic Japanese Silk Thousand Stitch Belt with Tiger

Classic, iconic Japanese Thousand Stitch silk belt. The belt features a red embroidered tiger in the center and tapers to a point at each end. Either side of the tiger features painted kanji and flags, one Japanese, the other Chinese. The belt is two pieces of silk sewn together with slender silk straps for tying.

Circa WWII

Approximately 40" with two 25" straps.

Embroidered silk, cotton/polyester/silk thread, paint.

Tie straps.
