This is a nice example of a fairly rare unit badge to the 288th observation squadron of the Regia Aeronautica.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:About 1/2" in width by 1" in height.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Enamel on plated brass.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal pin with simple safety pin back.
MARKINGS:None.
