Description

ARTIFACT:

This is an indigenous central African tool for picking fruit from trees. The tool has a flattened, roughly S-shaped head with a wooden handle grip.

VINTAGE:

Circa late 19th century ??? early 20th century.

SIZE:

Tool: approximately by 18-1/2" in length and 3-3/4" in width across the widest part; stand: 3" x 5" base.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Wood, iron.
