ARTIFACT: This is a great letter opener from Fiji made of indigenous material. It dates to the 1940s or possibly earlier. The opener is in the shape of a curved sword and has an etched native's head at the top.

VINTAGE: Circa 1940s or earlier.

SIZE: Approximately 6-7/8" in length and 1-3/4" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Indigenous material.

ATTACHMENT: None.

MARKINGS: None.
