ARTIFACT: This is an incredible, gigantic, circa 1967 US Air Force Survey Team 3 (AST - 3) jacket back patch. 

This is a Japanese made, fully embroidered patch depicting a plane with two green arms over a map of North Vietnam, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, and South Vietnam. 
The banner at the top of the patch reads "THE GREY CREEPER".

VINTAGE: Circa 1967.

SIZE: Approximately: 12-3/4" in height x 12-1/2" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Fully embroidered patch in multi-colored silk/cotton/polyester threads.

ATTACHMENT: To be sewn onto Flight Clothing.

MARKINGS: None

CONDITION: 9- (Excellent+): Wonderful coloring, little fraying.
