This is an Incredible circa 1896 CITY MARSHAL Badge from the Toole County Utah GHOST TOWN of MERCUR.

The very First Salt Lake Stamp Company Maker Mark dating to 1896 most likely makes this the town’s FIRST City Marshal’s Badge.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1896.

SIZE:

Approximately: 2-5/8” in height x 2-5/16” in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Nickel-plated nickel with black painted Lettering and a lead Soldered brass finding.
