ARTIFACT:
This is a Great Concise Grouping including the Iconic Bugs Bunny Leather Flight Jacket Patch of the 324th Bomb Squadron, 91st Bomb Group, 8th Air Force Iconic Bugs Bunny Patch from Pilot of the B-17 Flying Fortress Betty Lou's Buggy. This is the famous squadron that the B-17 Memphis Belle belonged to.
The grouping consists of a minty unused example of the patch, with the original owner's information on the back, insignia from his uniform including an 8trh AF patch embroidered on felt, and his A. E. (American Emblem) Company Sterling Silver Pilot Wing, and his USAAF Officer Collar Insignia. Along with the WWII vintage material is a lovely sepia tone photograph of the crew in front of Betty Lou's Buggy, which is a copy of a period photo.
