Great WWII Triumph Explosives E for Excellence Pin

This is a World War II "E" pin for excellence in production for Triumph Explosives, Inc. of Elkton, Maryland. Triumph manufactured munitions, including anti-aircraft shells for United States Navy and Allied ships. The pin was issued to Triumph by the United States Navy Bureau of Ordnance and it was made by A. E. Company of Utica, New York.

Circa World War II.

Approximately 15/16" in height by 11/16" in width.

Enameled brass.

Single screw post with sleeved disc backing, stabilization pin.
