ARTIFACT:
This is a circa 1917 United States Navy book entitled "Watch Officer's Manual". It was written initially by Ensign C. E. Hovey and revised by Lieutenant S. Endel. The manual covers everything to do with the watch, including when the ship is in port, as well as how to handle emergency situations. The manual has color illustrations of the flags of combatant nations along with the naval rank of same! A fabulous reference.

CONDITION:
7+ (Very Fine+): The book has some light wear to the cover and one corner is slightly bent; page right before title page has been removed as well as some paper from inside of front cover. No writing, stains or tears inside.
