Great WWI USN CPO (Chief Petty Officer) Hat Badge with Unusual Slanted USN

This is a great circa World War I United States Navy Chief Petty Officer hat badge. The badge is a golden anchor with an unusual slanted "USN" across it in silver.

Circa World War I.

Approximately 1-5/8" in height and 1-1/16" in width.

Gilt and plated brass.

Vertical pin with tongue-style catch.
