Great WWI US Marine Corps (USMC) Sweetheart Pillowcase with Hand-Painted Details

This is a United States Marine Corps sweetheart pillowcase from World War I in silk with hand-painted details. The case is fringed in golden thread and reads DEMOCRACY'S VANGUARD across the bottom of a landing scene.

Circa World War I.

Approximately 23-1/2" in height and 23-1/2" in width (including fringe but not including foam board).
