ARTIFACT:

Great WWI Imperial German patriotic aviation 'Eindecker' pin made into a brooch or charm. The Eindecker was developed in April of 1915 by a Danish engineer Anthony Fokker and aided German troops during WWI. This example shows what appears to have been a period removal of the pinback, with a loop attachment added for wear on a bracelet of necklace.
