This is a great thick and heavy Chinese-made patch for the United States Army Headquarters in the China-Burma-India theatre. The patch is a diagonally-striped shield bearing a bullion sun at center.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:3-1/2" height and 2-11/16" width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Multi-piece velvet and silk patch embroidered in silk/cotton and bullion threads with muslin backing.

CONDITION:7 (Very Fine): Patch has one small spot where the bullion has become severed but overall is in great shape with a unique palette and design.
