Great Old 1890s Special Police Badge by Gun & Bicycle Manufacturer Iver Johnson Company of Boston

This is a Great Old 1890's Special Police Badge by Gun & Bicycle Manufacturer Iver Johnson Co. of Boston. The oval shaped badge features stamped lettering which read"SPECIAL POLICE" with stamped and blackened embellishments. The reverse shows a period re-soldering of the pin and the makers mark read"IVER JOHNSON CO. BOSTON".

Circa 1890's.

Approximately 2-1/4" in width x 1-1/2" in height.

Nickel plated nickel.

One-piece Horizontal pin with open 'C' catch.
