ARTIFACT: This is a great late World War II British No. 3 Commando Brigade shoulder flash. This unit was made up of both Army and Royal Marine Commandos, and saw service during the Burma Campaign. The flash is a black wool arc embroidered in red thread.

VINTAGE: Circa late World War II.

SIZE: Approximately 7/8" in height and 4-1/16" in length.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Wool felt embroidered in cotton/silk thread, mesh backing.

ATTACHMENT: None.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a WWII British insignia collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MAEX13 LABEX9/14 SAAEX12/18

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The flash has only light wear.
