This is a great late World War II British No. 3 Commando Brigade shoulder flash. This unit was made up of both Army and Royal Marine Commandos, and saw service during the Burma Campaign. The flash is a black wool arc embroidered in red thread.
Circa late World War II.
Approximately 7/8" in height and 4-1/16" in length.
MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION:
Wool felt embroidered in cotton/silk thread, mesh backing.
