Great D-LZ129 Hindenburg 1936 Olympic Year Pennant from Lakehurst, New Jersey

This is a great D-LZ129 Hindenburg pennant for the craft's visit to Lakehurst, New Jersey, the same year that the Olympics were held in Germany. The rings on the zeppelin were only used during this year. This is also notably the year before the Hindenburg met its fiery fate in an accident at Lakehurst.

Circa 1936.

Approximately 9-3/8" in height and 26-1/4" in length (tie is about 13-1/2" in length).

7+ (Very Fine+): The pennant is missing most of one tie and there are two very small holes where wool is missing, but it is in nice shape besides.
