Great Circa 1939 USN Sweetheart Pin with 1st Type Pre-War Amico Hallmark

This is a circa 1939 United States Navy pilot chained sweetheart pin. One side is a lovely, miniature wing, and the other is an early insignia with a right-facing eagle that would have been worn by an officer. The eagle has a first type, pre-World War II Amico maker's mark on reverse.

Circa 1939.

Eagle: approximately 1/2" by 1/2"; wing: approximately 3/16" by 5/8"; chain: about 1-3/4" in length.

Gilt brass.

Pin with drop-in locking swivel catch (on each), chain.

Pre-WWII Amico maker mark on reverse of eagle.
