Great Circa 1880s Salt Lake County Utah Deputy Sheriff Circle Star Cut Out Shield Badge

Here is a great cut-out circle-star shield badge for a deputy sheriff of Salt Lake County, Utah. There is some great wear and deep yellowing to this nickel, 1890s badge. The pin is an old steel wire replacement, and top of star looks to have been touched up, all back "in the day". This has a wonderful a wonderful look.

Circa 1890s.

Approximately 2-1/16" in height and 1-3/4" in width.

Nickel-plated brass, painted details.

Steel horizontal safety-style pin (repaired).
