Description
This is a great circa 1950 desk model of a United States Air Force Grumman Panther F9F jet fighter. The model swivels and spins above its base and is by Topping Models of Akron Ohio. Cool Panther logo on the clear base! The Panther's heyday was from 1947-1958, and it was also flown by the US Navy and US Marine Corps.
VINTAGE:Circa 1950.
SIZE:Approximately 5-1/4" in height by 11" in length and 10-1/2" in width (wing tip to wing tip).
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Plastic.
ATTACHMENT:Swivel attachment.
MARKINGS:MADE BY TOPPING MODELS INC. 106 NO. MAIN ST. AKRON OHIO mark under the tail.
