ARTIFACT:
This is a great circa 1920's Ogle County, Illinois Deputy Sheriff six pointed star badge. The points of the star are ball tips filled with lead. The badge has the initials "H.C.K." which is probably the initials of the sheriff of the time. The initials are struck and not engraved, meaning they were done at the time of manufacture.

Nickel plated nickel.

Vertical pin with locking drip-in swivel catch.
