Great 1940 sporting goods catalog for Chapman's of Paterson, New Jersey. The front of the cover depicts an image of a fisherman reaching into the water at the edge of a stream, his fishing basket hanging from his shoulder and holding his fishing pole in the opposite hand. The top reads: "1940 SPRING AND SUMMER CATALOG EQUIPMENT FOR THE GREAT OUTDOORS" and along the bottom: "GUNS AMMUNITION FISHING TACKLE CAMPING OUTFITS CHAPMAN'S SPORTING GOODS TOYS BICYCLES CAMERAS SPORT CLOTHING 61 MAIN STREET PATERSON, N. J." The catalog contains 32 pages of product with photos and descriptions.
