This is a beautiful circa 1930s or 1940s Fire Department Chaplain badge from Demarest, New Jersey, a borough in the northeastern part of the state. The shield-shaped badge is in gold fill and has a large white enameled cross at its center.
VINTAGE:Circa 1930s-1940s.
SIZE:Approximately 2" in height and 1-3/8" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gold fill, enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical pin with drop-in swivel locking catch.
MARKINGS:1/20 10 KT GF.
