ARTIFACT: This is a circa early 1940s Wood Ridge (New Jersey) Fire Department hat badge. The badge is in sterling silver and is a cross with fire equipment in relief at its center.

VINTAGE: Circa early 1940s.

SIZE: Approximately 1-3/4" in height and 1-3/4" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Sterling silver and gilt sterling silver.

ATTACHMENT: Single screw post with disc backing, stabilization post.

MARKINGS: STERLING.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a New Jersey fire and rescue collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MCEX13 LIEX12/13

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The badge has only some light wear.
