ARTIFACT:

This is a circa early 1940s Wood Ridge (New Jersey) Fire Department hat badge. The badge is in sterling silver and is a cross with fire equipment in relief at its center.

VINTAGE:

Circa early 1940s.

SIZE:

Approximately 1-3/4" in height and 1-3/4" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Sterling silver and gilt sterling silver.

ATTACHMENT:

Single screw post with disc backing, stabilization post.

MARKINGS:

STERLING.
