Great 1900 United States Census Enumerator Badge in Die Stamped Nickel

This is a Great 1900 United States Census Enumerator Badge in Die Stamped Nickel. The badge designed eagle perched on top of a shield with a flag pattern on it. The census that took place on June 1, 1900 was the nation's twelfth, and determined the United States' population to be 76,212,16It is a comparatively very important census since much of 1890 census was damaged in a fire.
