Description

ARTIFACT:

This is a Great Old West, circa 1890's "Stock" City Marshal 6 point Star Badge by Northwestern Stamp Works in St. Pail Minnesota. The badge has lovely hand stamped lettering and embellishments! It also has a period-of-use repair using a modified safety pin.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1890's.

SIZE:

Approximately 2-5/8" in height x 2-1/15" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Nickel plated nickel badge body, nickel-plated brass findings and saddle.

ATTACHMENT:

Vertical safety-style pin with oval saddle.

7 (Very Fine): The badge shows minor to moderate wear, and a period of use repair to the pinback, using a modified safety pin. Overall, it is in very fine condition.
