Description

ARTIFACT:

Gorgeous, minty circa 1970 United States Navy VA-93 Japanese-made jacket patch, as worn during Operation Linebacker which took place in Vietnam from May through October of 1972 during which time the VA-93 flew the Corsair II Aircraft. The patch is fully embroidered in red, white, black and various shades of blue and depicts two Corsair II aircrafts flying through the center of the patch, below it reads: "ATTACK SQUADRON 93".

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Fully embroidered in silk/cotton/polyester thread on cotton.
