Gorgeous, early WWII Home Front War Worker enameled ID badge from the Columbus, Ohio General Depot by Whitehead & Hoag Co., Newark N.J. The badge is shield shaped, features red, white, and blue enamel, and reads: "COLUMBUS GENERAL DEPOT". This example is in near mint condition with a very low #: "9" – the design is obviously based on an older United Airlines Ground Crew badge.
