Gorgeous 1920's California Fish & Game Commission Fish & Game Protector Badge by Irvine & Jachens, San Francisco. The top center of the badge features a raised disc that depicts the State Seal of California which features the goddess of war and wisdom, a California black bear and the phrase "Eureka" above. Below it reads: "FISH AND GAME PROTECTOR CALIFORNIA FISH & GAME COMMISSION" and is numbered "648" at the base of the badge and an eagle sits perched at the very top. The reverse features the maker's mark "IRVINE & JACHENS S.F."

Nickel plated nickel and paint.

Vertical safety style pin with 'C' catch.
